UCT LISC offers short course in Research Data Management
Are you managing your research data effectively, or is it just lurking somewhere on your hard drive? From planning data collection, to storage, and backups, and post-publication, and domain repositories, we can help you to ensure that your research data are managed in line with the leading standards and funder requirements.
This 3-day short course at NQF level 7 will provide you with an understanding of the importance of data management, the research data life cycle, and the organisation, documentation, and long-term curation of research data.
The course will be of interest to anyone who deals with research data: librarians, researchers, research assistants, research administrators, postgraduate students, and data managers. Entry requirement: An undergraduate degree in any discipline.
